Great strides are being made in the endeavor to work with LGBTQ+-Inclusive writers, directors, actors and creators to generate diverse content.
However, these productions are then filtered through the traditional Hollywood production machine, often with non-LGBTQ+-Inclusive executives, producers, cinematographers, editors, costumers, etc...
They might have great intentions, but they don't intimately grasp the LGBTQ+-Inclusive experience, leading to the dilution of these stories.
Our Founder
Ilyssa Goodman
Working in Hollywood, on commercially successful films, for more than two decades, Goodman has always had her hand on the pulse of what makes commercially successful content.
As a producer on the Warner Bros “A Cinderella Story” franchise, among other successful films, and now as a writer and director of LGBTQ+-Inclusive content, Goodman sees creative and financial opportunities for LGBTQ+-Inclusive stories in the marketplace.
But Goodman sees a gap in the process where creativity is marginalized by producers who don't grasp the nuances of LGBTQ+-Inclusive storytelling.
